Kpakpe is new at the Rooks

Lewes gave a debut to Alex Kpakpe in their draw at Hashtag United on Saturday. Alex started this season with Cray Valley PM, where he played sixteen times after signing in the summer. 

Defender Alex is a former Chelsea youth who has also had a dual registration deal with Wingate and Finchley -from Aveley- last season. He played three times for the Blues, and later in the campaign also spent time at Hastings United, playing fifteen times. 

He left Chelsea in 2022 and joined Glasgow Rangers for six months, before returning south and spending some of the 23-24 season with Hitchin Town. He signed for Aveley in the summer of 2024, and  made fifteen appearances last season. 

We have also seen reference to a spell with Hampton and Richmond Borough, but we can't find any other record of that.
