Makumbi and Green are new at Cray

Cray Valley PM had two debutants on Saturday, with Balu Makumbi and Jermaine Green coming in.

Balu is, we suspect, on loan from Slough Town- as he is contracted there until the summer. The defender signed for Slough from Hatfield Town in the summer of 2024, and has played for the Development side at Arbour Park and also made seven first team appearances. He spent some time on loan at Northwood last season, the Woods in Pitching In Southern Division One Central these days, and played sixteen times. 

He has already had a short spell at Combined Counties League side Langley this season.

Jermaine makes a move from Chertsey Town, where he has played fifteen times. 

The defender has also made a couple of appearances for Egham Town in our South Central Division this season, and three times for Southall- and you might also remember him from his time with Raynes Park Vale, where he made thirty seven appearances last season, scoring twice, and thirty five with three goals during 23-24. 

He has also turned out for Croydon Athletic and Epsom and Ewell.
