Mariappa makes a Saints move

Adrian Mariappa is new at St Albans City
Prior to Saturday's FA Cup tie, St Albans City strengthened their defence with the signing of Adrian Mariappa.
Adrian came through the youth ranks at Watford before becoming a mainstay of the Hornets defence, making more than two hundred appearances over five years- these days he coaches at the club.
He left Watford for Reading, and then had a spell at Crystal Palace, before a return to Vicarage Road. He then went on to play for Bristol City, Salford City and- briefly- for Saturday's opponents Burton Albion, as well as a spell in Australia. He spent last season captaining National League side Wealdstone.
He has made more than seventy international appearances for Jamaica.
