Mark Hawkes named new Jammers boss
Mark Hawkes has been unveiled as the new manager of Isthmian Premier side Maldon & Tiptree.
The 49-year-old brings a wealth of experience to the Maldon Stadium, having managed over 300 games between Steps 2 and 4 for the likes of Chelmsford City and Heybridge Swifts.
Hawkes replaces former boss Kevin Horlock, who left the club last month after guiding them to promotion as champions.
The Jammers’ brilliant 2025/26 campaign saw them finish on 97 points, pipping Felixstowe & Walton United to the title on goal difference.
A club statement confirming Hawkes’ appointment said that the make-up of his backroom team, and their playing squad for the forthcoming season, would be announced in due course.
