McKenzie goes from Blue to Stripes!

Folkestone Invicta have announced the arrival of Billericay Town full back Montel McKenzie.

Montel, who perhaps may be more widely known away from our League from his time on Love Island than for his time on the pitch, previously spent time in the USA studying and playing ‘soccer’ for Ocean City Nor’easters, before playing for Woodford Town in the Essex Senior League during 22-23, when he made twenty eight appearances according to FA stats. He was then spotted by Hemel Hempstead Town, signed for the Tudors in February 2023, and played a full part in their National League South campaign during the 23-24 season.

He signed for Billericay last summer, and made thirty four appearances as his side lifted the Velocity Cup and finished second in Pitching In Isthmian Premier.
