Meeres moves up the Hill
Jack Meeres moves up the A23 to Burgess Hill Town
Burgess Hill Town have brought in Jack Meeres, who moves up the road from Whitehawk. He joined the Hawks in the summer from Lewes, and has made five appearances.
Defender Jack joined Lewes in January, and played sixteen times last season, scoring twice.
He made the move to the Rooks after a second spell with Lancing. He only rejoined the Lancers in December 2024, and made eight appearances.
Jack returned to Culver Road from SCFL promotion chasers Haywards Heath Town. He originally joined the Lancers from Newhaven in the summer of 2023, and went on to play thirty five times as his side narrowly missed out on the play offs in 23-24. He previously spent time with East Grinstead Town.
According to the FA website, he played thirty one times and scored nine goals for Heath last season prior to his Culver Road return.
