Obi of the Hamlet
Ogo Obi brings his goals to Dulwich
Dulwich Hamlet have brought in striker Ogo Obi, who arrives fresh from winning promotion with Fareham Town. He managed sixteen goals in thirty three appearances as Town confirmed yet another elevation, this time to National League South.
Ogo was previously, as you will undoubtedly recall, with Wingate and Finchley- indeed, he scored twenty seven goals in forty one matches on Summers Lane during 24-25. You might also remember Ogo from his spell with Hanwell Town, where he scored twenty eight goals as the Geordies won promotion from our South Central Division during the 21-22 campaign, including one in that amazing Play Off Final win at Chertsey Town. That followed fifteen in fourteen matches during the rather short 20-21 campaign, and eight in seven matches after joining the Geordies for what turned out to be the closing stages of the 19-20 season.
Ogo played youth football for Watford, moving on to play for Hampton and Richmond Borough, Wealdstone, Hendon and Hayes and Yeading United before moving to Hanwell. He left the Geordies to play for Hemel Hempstead Town, Slough Town and Maidstone United, before moving on to Chesham United on loan during the 23-24 season, where he was a big part of their Pitching In Southern Premier South title win.
