Stanley Oldfield makes a temporary Croydon move
Croydon Athletic have announced the loan arrival of Stanley Oldfield, who makes a loan move from Pitching In Isthmian Premier promotion-chasers Chatham Town. He has made twenty one appearances this season for the Chats, scoring eight goals, and played twice last season.
He recently had a loan spell at Sheppey United, playing five times and scoring once.
Stanley signed for the Chats just over a year ago. The forward had previously been with Snodland Town in the SCEFL, and indeed scored twelve goals in twenty two appearances in the first half of last season. He then headed back there on loan, and his finally tally for the campaign was nineteen goals in thirty seven appearances.
He was previously with another SCEFL club, Staplehurst Monarchs, scoring ten goals in fifteen matches during the 23-24 season according to the League website.
He came through the youth setup at Ashford United, and indeed made seven appearances for the Nuts and Bolts first team during 23-24.
