Paternoster gives the Darts a lift

Dartford have brought in defender Vladimir Paternoster from Braintree Town, the player arriving on a dual registration deal.

The centre back spent time on loan with us last season, when he was with Luton Town, making eight appearances for Welling United and helping them to Premier Division safety. 

He has played youth football rather higher up the pyramid even than the Hatters, as he has spent time with both Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur. He then moved on to Shrewsbury Town, for whom he played for the Under 18 side, before heading to Luton in the summer of 2024 after a spell at Hemel Hempstead Town. 

He joined Braintree in the summer.
