We asked supporters of our Pitching In Isthmian League clubs to preview the new season, reflect on the old and predict the final outcome. Their predicted 1-22 will be worked into a final table which you will see just before the big kick off.
Leo- who can be found on X at The Rams Feed- brings us the news from the coast.
Thinking about last season, what were your highlights?
The run between Nov 11th and Feb 28th. We climbed up the league table and almost snuck into the promotion play off race, but then unfortunately fell short.
And what was the worst moment?
The Velocity Cup Final. A memorable journey, but to be edged out in extra time made it all seem rather worthless.
Which member of your squad was your Player of the Season - and why?
Dillion Addai, who was a loan keeper from Bromley. He made so many really important saves, including one in the Velocity Cup Semi final against Hashtag United.
Moving on to your current squad - which players do you think will make a big impact during the 26/27 campaign?
Hopefully Jacob Bland and Dave Winfield.
Realistically, how do you think you’ll do this season?
I’m hoping for a play off push, but it’s our second consecutive season in this league, so probably a mid table finish again.
If you could choose a song for your side to run our to, what would it be- and why?
“Our Home” - Luke J Dorman
From all the opposition players you watched last season, which one would you love to see in your side- and why?
Probably Josh Rusoke from Hashtag, really good player overall.
What is your favourite Isthmian away ground?
My favourite ground has the be The Dripping Pan (Lewes) like it’s a really nice and historic stadium.
If you travelled away, which ground served the best food?
Cheshunt, a fine variety of food.
