Rea of the Hill

Burgess Hill Town brought us some big news prior to Saturday's fixtures, with the arrival of Glen Rea.

Glen makes the move from Worthing, where he played a big part in their success last season, but has played at a much higher level indeed.

The midfielder, who can also play in defence, started his career down the A23 with Brighton and Hove Albion, where he came through the youth ranks before becoming a professional. He had loan spells with Southend United and Luton Town, and after leaving the Seagulls he signed for the latter, and became something of a permanent fixture, playing nearly two hundred times. He also had loan spells at Woking, Wigan Athletic and Cheltenham before moving back to Sussex in October 2023.
