Hashtag United strengthen their squad with the signings of Jason Ring, Evans Kouassi and Bradley Sach
Hashtag United have announced an impressive trio of new arrivals, with Jason Ring, Evans Kouassi and Bradley Sach signing non.
Jason Ring is, of course, something of an Aveley legend, winning the Pitching In Isthmian North title, featuring in our Team Of The Year, and then winning Pitching In Isthmian Premier promotion- via the Play Offs- the following season, 22-23. The no-nonsense full back then went on to play for the Millers in National League South, and indeed has been at Parkside for five years- and, of course, won't be leaving his usual home ground as the Tags are tenants there. Prior to his time with Aveley he played for East Thurrock United, Great Wakering Rovers and Burnham Ramblers.
Evans Kouassi, who can play on the wing or up front, makes a move from Folkestone Invicta.
Evans joined Invicta in the summer of 2024, and he made thirty four appearances last season, scoring nine goals- and also found the time to play seven times on loan for Bowers and Pitsea, scoring once.
Evans was previously with Canvey Island. He missed most of the 23-24 season through injury, but became something of a legend in four years at the Gulls. He scored five goals in the nineteen matches he managed during 23-24, but that followed an impressive twenty four as the Gulls reached the Premier Play Off Semi Final in 22-23, and thirty one in forty seven matches as they won North Division promotion via the Play Offs in 21-22. His first season at Canvey was the very short 20-21 campaign, where he had three goals before the world closed down once more.
Prior to the Gulls Evans managed ten goals for Heybridge Swifts during the unfinished 19-20 season, his second spell with the club- after returning in March 2019 after a short but productive period with Mildenhall Town. He was a big part of Swifts success in the 2018-19 playoffs, success which sadly turned out to be futile given the FA's decision to not promote all playoff winners. He previously played for Wealdstone, Bishop's Stortford, Hayes and Yeading, Chelmsford City and at Concord Rangers.
Bradley Sach is, of course, a former team mate of Evans at Canvey Island.
The striker started his career as a youth at Boreham Wood, prolific in front of goal. He spent time at Grays Athletic on loan before signing permanently at Potters Bar Town, where he scored two goals in three matches during 2017-18, played forty seven times the following season, and made another thirty eight appearances- with nine goals- during 2019-20. He then moved on to Aveley, scoring three in ten during the very short 2020-21 campaign, before joining Bowers and Pitsea, where he was a big part of their run to the First Round of the FA Cup and their match at Lincoln City. He scored seven goals for Bowers during the 21-22 season, in twenty one appearances, before making the move to Canvey in January 2022.
His ten goals in seventeen matches helped the Gulls to North Division promotion, and he got another twenty three in forty five matches as they returned to our top flight, his efforts helping them to reach the Play Offs. The 23-24 season saw him score sixteen times in forty five matches, and he then left the Gulls at the start of 24-25 for Chatham Town, making eight appearances before returning to Canvey in October. He managed eight goals in thirty eight appearances for the Gulls last season, and of course also became a champion of Essex!
