Jack Strange swaps Horsham for Burgess Hill Town

Burgess Hill Town gave a debut to defender Jack Strange on Saturday, as he moved to Mid Sussex after almost four successful years at Horsham.

Earlier in his career Jack captained the youth side at Sutton United, and spent some time at Hampton & Richmond Borough before joining Corinthian-Casuals. He was an enormous success in pink and brown, captaining the side and picking up a plethora of club awards. He made forty three appearances during the 21-22 season, scored in the win against Potters Bar Town, and picked up an incredibly bizarre red card in a match against Bognor after leaving the field abruptly to use the facilities and then returning without permission!

He spent some time at Kingstonian, making twenty three appearances, and then moved to Horsham in December 2022, becoming something of a legend at the Camping World Community Stadium as they had fantastic FA Cup and FA Trophy runs, took our title in 24-25, and then consolidated their place in National League South.
