Nile Ranger makes a move to AFC Whyteleafe

Just before kick off on Saturday AFC Whyteleafe brought in forward Nile Ranger.

The striker spent time at Chatham Town last season, scoring five times in fifteen appearances as his side reached our Pitching In Isthmian Premier Play Offs.

Nile played youth football for Crystal Palace and Southampton before heading to the North East and joining Newcastle United. It was with the Magpies that he first came to prominence, becoming a major part of the first team squad.

Whilst a Geordie he had loan spells at Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday, and then he moved permanently to Swindon Town. He then had time at Blackpool, before two years with Southend United.

More recently he has played for Boreham Wood, Kettering Town and Wellingborough Town.
