Two debutants in victory for Saints
Tobi Akinyimika and Sidney Turner make winning starts for St Albans City
St Albans City delivered a fine victory over Bury Town on Saturday, and they featured two debutants, Tobi Akinyimika starting and Sidney Turner emerging from the bench.
Tobi, an attacking midfielder, comes in on loan from Championship side Watford. He has come through the youth ranks at the Hornets, played for the Under 18 and Under 21 sides, and so far as we can see this is his first experience of senior football. More here.
Sidney, a Dutch winger, spent his formative years mainly in his native country. he played youth football first with AVV Zeeburgia in Amsterdam, before spending time with Ajax and Utrecht. he moved to the Midlands with FCV Grace Dieu, who play in the Midlands League, before moving to Eastbourne Borough- then still in National League South- in March.
