Two special K's for the Chats
Kai Redgrave and Kola Salami debut in defeat for Chatham Town
Chatham Town may not have had the best of afternoons on Saturday, but they did welcome two new new faces, Kai Redgrave and Kola Salami debuting from the bench.
Kai comes in from Maldon and Tiptree, where he has made eight appearances and scored once this season. That followed a spell with Bowers and Pitsea which saw him play twenty nine times last season, and he also played nine times for Bowers at the end of the 24-25 season, after moving from…Maldon. He made twenty nine appearances for the Jammers during 24-25 prior to moving to Bowers, scoring three goals.
He is a former Colchester United youth, having played both Under 18 and Under 21 football before departing the League Two club in the summer of 2023. Prior to his time at United he played youth football for both West Ham United and Chelsea. He also spent time with Cheshunt.
Kola comes in from Dover Athletic.
He played for Dartford at youth level, and also played for Elmstead and Sutton Athletic before first coming our way in 24-25 Kola Salami with Erith Town, where he played sixteen times and scored five goals. He then had a spell with Carshalton towards the end of 24-25, playing fourteen times and scoring once, and forty two times with nine goals last season.
He signed for Dover in the summer.
