We’ve a Monday packed with football- some of which you can watch from you living room
We’ve a live streamed Premier match, a South Central match on a Premier ground, and a Cup Quarter Final
It’s Monday, so we must have a collection of rather crucial football for you. No, that’s not a sentence we’d normally write, but it is entirely correct today.
In Pitching In Isthmian Premier we have a match which will be streamed live on Clubber TV, as second place Aveley play host to mid table Chichester City. The Millers are fourteen points behind leaders Folkestone Invicta with two games in hand, and will be hoping to pounce should the Stripes hit a sticky patch.
Aveley have won five in a row, whilst their visitors have only one win from six but shouldn’t be written off. The sides last met as recently as January 31st, the Millers triumphing by the only goal of the game.
If you can’t get there, watch on Clubber TV- here.
Next we have Raynes Park Vale taking on Bedfont Sports in Pitching In Isthmian South Central, and we’d urge you to head to the correct ground, as the match is taking place at Carshalton Athletic. Vale are tenth, Sports twelfth, only a point between the sides at kick off, Sports five unbeaten, Vale with one defeat in six. The sides drew one-one when they last met.
Finally, we’ve a Velocity Cup Quarter Final coming to you from East London. Crowborough Athletic travel to Redbridge for a match which was originally scheduled for Sussex but has been reversed to avoid another postponement. The Motormen have four wins from their last six matches and managed victory without the free-scoring Malachi Napa- who has moved to Ramsgate- at the weekend; whilst the Crows have one defeat from six and are four unbeaten, but have found football difficult to come by of late, Saturday’s draw at VCD Athletic their first match since January 24th.
Athletic defeated Premier opposition in the shape of Chatham Town in the last round, whilst Redbridge knocked out another of the top flight promotion chasers, Aveley.
