Luther Williams and Brad Barry new at the Hill
Burgess Hill Town have announced two more new arrivals, Luther Williams moving from Dartford and Brad Barry stepping up from Hastings United.
Defender Luther made twenty seven appearances for the Darts last season, and- of course- also had a loan spell with the Hillians, playing eight times and scoring once.
Luther joined the Darts in the summer of 2024, and played forty two times as they reached the Promotion Final in 24-25.
The centre back was a big part of Leatherhead’s success in our South Central Division during the 23-24 season, the Tanners reaching the Promotion Final. He made twenty four appearances for the Tanners, and helped out at the other end with two goals.
Luther came through the youth ranks at Chelsea, before heading North and joining Sheffield United. Whilst with the Blades he played Under 18 and Under 21 football, but also saw his game time sadly limited through injuries, He moved to Fetcham Grove in the summer of 2023.
Brad Barry joined Hastings last summer from Eastbourne Borough, and immediately took the captains armband. He mad eighteen appearances.
Brad was born in Hastings, and spent his formative years playing youth football for Brighton & Hove Albion before a move to Swindon Town, where he spent two seasons. Two seasons at Chesterfield came next, before two more at Barrow when he won National League promotion. A season at Stevenage was followed by three at Borough.
