A Claret becomes Blue

Charlee Adams is the latest Brentwood Town arrival

Brentwood Town have announced the arrival of National League South midfielder Charlee Adams, who moves across Essex from Chelmsford City.

it's rather appropriate that Charlee moves from Clarets to Blues, because as a youth he played for a side famous for those colours, West Ham United, before heading to continue his football education at Birmingham City.

After making his first team debut at St Andrews, and playing for the Under 18 side, he had loan spells at Lincoln City and Kilmarnock, before moving permanently to East London and Dagenham & Redbridge. He had another spell at the Daggers after reuniting with former Dagenham boss John Still for a season at Barnet, and then headed west of the capital to join Maidenhead United, where he spent three years playing under former Hammers legend Alan Devonshire.

He moved on to start the 24-25 campaign at Hornchurch, before heading to Chelmsford- initially on loan, and then later permanently- at Christmas last year.
