Botti and Atkins join the Darts

Gianluca Botti and Louie Atkins are a double attacking addition for Dartford

Gianluca Botti and Louie Atkins are new arrivals at Dartford.

Gianluca had his customary superb season in 25-26, rattling in the goals for Wingate and Finchley- seventeen of them in only twenty five matches.

He started the campaign with our Pitching In Isthmian Premier champions Horsham, as they took on the challenge of National League South. He ended the 24-25 season at that level, too, with Tonbridge Angels.

Gianluca was with Lewes for some of that 24-25 campaign, and was an enormous success for the Rooks, his twelve games bringing seven goals. He made the move to the Dripping Pan from Whitehawk, where he had been for less than six weeks and played seven times, with three goals.

Gianluca managed thirty one goals for Chertsey Town as they won our South Central title during the 23-24 season, including a four goal haul against Uxbridge, but what impressed most was his consistency- he scored in twenty five matches. He moved to the Curfews after scoring twenty nine goals in forty one matches for Camberley Town during the 22-23 season.

He previously spent brief spells with Leatherhead and Westfield.

Forward Louie has been with Margate since September 2024, when he joined the club from…Dartford.

Louie played a big part in the success of the Darts Under 19 side, and also played his part in the first team squad- indeed, at the end of the 21-22 season he emerged from the bench as the Darts defeated our very own Folkestone Invicta to win the Kent Senior Cup. Holmesdale in the SCEFL was a loan destination for him during the 22-23 season, and he made one appearance for Gate on loan.

He made a dozen appearances for Gate with three goals last season, missing most of the campaign with a knee injury. He made forty one appearances with eleven goals during 24-25.
