Cerulli and Peters are new in Blue

Alfie Cerulli and Ollie Peters arrive in Brentwood- and what an arrival Alfie had!

Brentwood Town had a day to remember on Saturday, defeating Dagenham and Redbridge to reach the final Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup- and new loan arrival Alfie Cerulli played an enormous part in their success, emerging from the bench to torment the Daggers, scoring twice in a three-one win.

Alfie arrives on a month's loan from Billericay Town. He, of course, played an enormous part in Billericay's promotion last season, playing thirty four times and scoring fourteen goals- and has played seven times this season in National League South, with one goal.

The forward returned to Billericay from Hemel Hempstead Town, this time on a permanent basis, in the summer of 2025.  He was also with Billericay on loan in the closing stages of 24-25, playing nine matches and scoring five goals as the Blues fell just short of the title.

Alfie was also superb for the Blues during the 23-24 season, playing fifty one times and scoring twenty two goals- and that didn't come as a surprise as he was also a big New Lodge success during 22-23, playing forty nine times and scoring thirteen times. He was at Hemel prior to his first Blues spell, after starting his career at Braintree Town, playing for the Under 18 side and the first team, as well as having a Witham Town loan move when he played fourteen times.

Ollie comes in from- of course- Aveley, where he has played eight times and scored twice this season. That followed forty one appearances and fourteen goals last season.

Ollie, a midfielder, moved to the Millers from AFC Sudbury, but you will also remember him from his time winning our title with Bishop’s Stortford, or perhaps from his time with Billericay Town. He went on to play for Stortford in National League North (not that the Blues really enjoyed that experience), and prior to his time just off the M11 had an earlier spell with Sudbury and also played in the USA for Georgia Revolution and the Francis Marion University Patriots.
