Gibbs new in blue- with Linton and Seaden too

Harry Gibbs swaps Hornchurch for Brentwood- and is joined by Malachi Linton and Harry Seaden

Brentwood Town's latest signing is defender Harry Gibbs- and over the last few days they've also announced the addition of Malachi Linton and Harry Seaden.

Harry was a mainstay of the Urchins charge to the National League last season, but a decision by the club to pursue full time football for the forthcoming campaign has left him free to return to the Blues. We say' return' as he was part of their squad during the 2017-18 campaign, when he played forty seven times and scored four goals. He originally moved the The Arena from Aveley, and following one campaign he went back there, playing an enormous part as the Millers reached the Isthmian North Play Off Semi-Final in 2018-19, before forty one appearances prior to the 19-20 campaign coming to an unfortunately premature end. He played nine times in the little we had of the 20-21 season, and then helped steer his side to the North title in 21-22.

Harry then played fifty two times as the Millers made it two promotions in two years- defeating Hornchurch in the Play Off Final on the way- and then helped establish his side in National League South before becoming an Urchin for 24-25.

Malachi Linton makers a move from Totton, who finished last season in mid table in National League South. The forward came through the ranks at Ipswich Town before a move to Crewe Alexandra, and then played for Lowestoft Town before earning a move to Wycombe Wanderers. Whilst with the two blues he had a loan spell at Slough Town and another at Kings Lynn Town before eventually moving on to Yeovil Town. Loan spells at Taunton Town and Weymouth followed before a permanent move to the latter, and he left Dorset for Totton at the start of last season.

Harry Seaden is a player you will already know well.

Harry came through the ranks at Southend United, before eventually graduating to the first team squad. Whilst remaining a Shrimper he had loan spells at Cambridge City, where he played twice in our North Division- Colchester United, and Great Wakering Rovers, where he played five times during the 2018-19 campaign. He also had a spell at Dagenham and Redbridge before signing up with Billericay Town for the 22-23 season, making a rather exhausting fifty one appearances.

Harry was with Margate during the 23-24 season, playing forty seven times, and during the 24-25 season was with both Hemel Hempstead Town and Hornchurch in National League South before a move to Concord Rangers, where he played twenty five times.

He moved on to Cray Wanderers last summer, and played thirty nine times for Wands.
