A tale of two spot kicks as the Blues come from behind to progress in the Cup
Pitching In Isthmian League leaders Brentwood Town have had a superb start to their season, and took their four match winning run and five match unbeaten record into a match against Leighton Town at the Arena. Their opponents had also started the campaign in superb form, with a one hundred percent record in Pitching In Southern Division One Central- and of course knocked Gorleston out of the FA Trophy last weekend- and they looked like they fancied another Isthmian scalp by taking the lead midway through the first half. The Blues levelled from the spot eight minutes before the break, Charlee Hughes firing home, and then three minutes from time they got another spot kick and a winner, Kymani Thomas with that one.
