Darts hold onto pole position in the title race- whilst Dover's play off place is in danger
Dartford remain two points clear at the top with only two games remaining- and their win over Dover Athletic, who drop to fifth, makes Athletic’s play off place look rather precarious with Chichester City only two points behind. The Darts went ahead on fifteen minutes courtesy of Samir Carruthers eleventh goal of the season, and they doubled their lead line minutes before half time, Denzelle Olopade making it two-nil. Two minutes into the second half the match looked as good as won, Josh Hill with a third, and a goal from Ruben Soares-Junior for the visitors twelve minutes from time was no more than a consolation.
Darts travel to Cray Wanderers on Monday and host Carshalton Athletic next Saturday, whilst Athletic’s trip to Chichester City next weekend might turn out to be a play off decider!
