Mardell to light up the Arena- alongside title winner Berry

Brentwood Town have brought in Stanway Rovers midfielder -and Pitching In Isthmian North Team of the Season member- Nat Mardell.

Nat was prolific as Rovers won promotion to our top flight via the Play Offs, scoring twenty five goals and terrifying defenders across the Division. He also played an enormous part in helping Rovers to promotion from the Essex Senior League in 24-25, scoring ten goals in thirty three appearances as his side took the title, and prior to that played for both their Under 18 and Under 23 sides.

Also arriving is Mikey Berry, who makes the move from title-winning Folkestone Invicta. 

Mikey was part of the Under 18 side at Charlton Athletic during the 23-24 season, and previously spent time in the Academy at Arsenal. The midfielder played twenty nine times for Ashford United- with one goal- but his performances caught the attention of Tonbridge Angels, and he moved there in January 2025. He played seven times at National League South level before signing for Invicta last summer, and played thirty seven times as the Stripes marched to the title, scoring three goals.
