Dan Smith makes a Dartford move
Dartford's latest arrival is Folkestone Invicta forward Dan Smith.
Dan joined the Stripes last summer, and scored nineteen goals from forty appearances.
Dan emerged from the Portsmouth Academy, and first spent time on loan at Bognor Regis Town during the 2018-19 campaign, scoring fourteen goals in just twenty one appearances. He was back at Nyewood Lane the following season and was even more prolific, having scored twenty six goals before covid ended the campaign. That form earned him a move to National League side Eastleigh, and time at Hereford and Weymouth followed, before he ended up at Dulwich Hamlet during the 22-23 season, scoring five times in his seventeen appearances. He moved back to Nyewood Lane during the 23-24 season, and contributed eight goals in thirty seven matches before being forced to end his season early in March due to injury. He actually spent much of that final Rocks campaign playing in midfield or even in defence.
