12th Man Fund pays dividends for Bar

Less than a week after Potters Bar announce their 12th man fund, it pays for its first signing

Earlier this week Bostik Premier Division new boys Potters Bar Town announced the launch of their 12th Man Fund, in the hope that it would swell the playing budget of manager Steve Ringrose. Only a few days later the supporter investment has paid its first dividend with the signing of Hendon forward Keagan Cole.

Cole, who is just approaching his nineteenth birthday, made his debut for the Greens aged sixteen and has already made over one hundred senior appearances. With the vast majority of the Scholars promotion squad remaining at the Pakex it seems rather peculiar to state that a teenager will bring much needed experience to the side, but given he has played his entire career at a level that Bar have only just reached, it is true nonetheless!
