Our Performance of the Month Award winners for January!

Perhaps the top performers across our Divisions in January were the groundstaff who ensured that we actually got to watch some football, but our betting.net Performance of the Month Award winners are as follows:

Premier Division:

The Premier Division Performance of the Month Award for January goes to Billericay Town. It's getting a little boring trying to search for superlatives to describe their performances this season- we've already suggested that their top striker changes his name to Jake Robinson-Scored-Again just to make our lives easier, but he refused- but once more the Blues get the nod, on this occasion for their performance in the FA Trophy, where victory over Stourbridge took them through to the Third Round (you may have noticed, they won that one too).

North Division:

The North Division Performance of the Month winners are also in Essex, and they are also in blue. Stand up Brentwood Town!

On New Years Day Brentwood travelled to Bridge Avenue to take on runaway league leaders AFC Hornchurch, and by half time they were 3-0 up. The Urchins rallied in the second half, but Brentwood did more than hold out, and left with all three points in a 4-3 victory.

South Division:

There have been some truly special performances in the South Division during January, which made decision making rather difficult, but in the end we decided to send the trophy down to Hayes Lane. On 17th January Ashford United were facing a Cray Wanderers side in top form, and by the end they were begging for mercy after the Wands had produced some magic, rattling in nine goals with only one in reply.

Congratulations to all of our winners!
