Staines Town manager Nicky Forster has added former Republic of Ireland defender Joe O'Cearuill to his growing squad for the upcoming Ryman Premier campaign.

After bringing explosive winger Michael Kalu and pacy attacker David Fallah to Wheatsheaf Park last week, Forster has signed former Arsenal star O'Cearuill, pictured.

The 28-year-old won two international caps for the Republic of Ireland in 2007 but did not make a senior appearance for the Gunners before moving on for spells with Barnet, St Patrick's Athletic, Forest Green Rovers and Dover Athletic.

Forster told the club's fans: "We are delighted to have secured the services of Joe this season. He has a great attitude for success and will sit well alongside Darren Purse at the back this season."

Former Watford forward Kalu, 21, joined the Swans from top flight rivals Enfield Town. Fallah, 23, spent the majority of last season at Boston United before a spell in the Ryman Premier with Harrow Borough.
