Keeper Chico Ramos has left Tilbury to take up a coaching role at Ryman South Walton Casuals.

The Dockers announced on Sunday that the 31-year-old was moving to the Waterside Stadium following a seven day approach from the Stags.

The experienced keeper, pictured, switched to Dulwich Hamlet last season before returning to Chadfields. He has also played for a number of other clubs including Leatherhead, Maidenhead, Waltham Forest and both the Stags and Hampton & Richmond Borough while on loan.

Ramos was called up for the Cape Verde squad in 2011 but did not make an appearance for his nation. He collected a number of golden gloves awards last season including the Ryman League’s monthly Precision Goalkeeping accolade.

In the statement announcing his departure, the Dockers said: "Tilbury FC were aware that the offer was too good to turn down. The club wish Chico all the best in his new role."

Walton Casuals are expected to appoint a new manager in the coming days following the departure of former boss Mark Hams and his assistant manager Neil Hams last week.
