Late appeal for fans to become terrace stars!

Whitstable Town

Ryman South Whitstable Town have launched a late appeal for fans to star as extras in a television advert.

Oystermen officials announced at lunchtime on Sunday that they are hoping supporters with a few hours to spare from mid-morning on Monday will don the club's colours for a TV film production company who are making a road safety advert for Kent County Council.

The filming is due to take place behind the 'Gas Works End' goal at The Belmont and a club spokesman said: "Extras for the crowd scene are required and should aim to arrive at 11.15am and be available for an hour or so. This is a chance for our fans to be on television so wearing red and white might just be an advantage!"
