No fears over Terrors start

Terrors midfielder Lee Hall is backing new manager Craig Tanner to quickly turn things around at Tooting & Mitcham United following their winless start to the new Ryman South campaign.

Hall insists it is far too early for anyone to panic after their 2-0 defeat at home to Burgess Hill Town on the opening Saturday was followed by successive draws with Hythe Town and Herne Bay. Ahead of Wednesday night's trip to newly promoted Peacehaven & Telscombe, Hall said the Terrors have the squad and manager for a successful campaign.

He told the Surrey Comet: "It is definitely too early for anyone to be panicking. We are only three games in to the season and the matches come thick and fast so there is always another match coming and chances to put it right.

"The atmosphere is still good and we know we have good enough players to do well in this division. We are more of a team this season but we are playing against sides that have been together ages whereas we came together this summer. It is going to take a few games for us to get going."
