Defender has Football League trial- and two players arrive

Nineteen year old Metropolitan Police defender Jeremy Arthur will be one of the boys in blue once more when the club travel to Tonbridge Angels tomorrow, but he’s spent much of this week on trial at League One Walsall, featuring for the clubs development side in a goalless draw with Bradford City.

Arthur joined the club after leaving Queens Park Rangers at the end of last season, and has shone at centre back as Met have had an extremely positive campaign so far- also managing to find his way onto the scoresheet against Burgess Hill Town and Staines Town. We understand that a number of professional clubs have been watching him in recent weeks, and we’re not surprised!

Manager Jim Cooper has also confirmed the signings of Calvin Ekpiteta from East Thurrock United and Alex Kozakis from Carshalton Athletic- and you can find out more by visiting the club website, Here.
