Revamped Rebels ready to roll

Ryman League Worthing have signed a host of new players, re-signed many of last season's squad and off the field have been strengthening their boardroom team with a number of key appointments.

The Ryman South’s Rebels have appointed Lee Noakes as their new Chairman and have also asked three new directors to focus of their commercial, finance and media activities at Woodside Road, pictured. Julian Church, John Whyte and Ian Hart are taking the respective roles while Deborah McKail has stepped up as Vice Chair.

Manager Lee Brace has also seen his squad for the new campaign taking shape since last week with Mark Knee returning from Conference South new boys Whitehawk. Jamie Crellin from Hastings United and Simon Lehkyj and Bradley Bant from Sussex County League sides Hassocks and Shoreham respectively, have also signed.

Bradley Murray has also arrived from new league rivals Peacehaven & Telscombe along with George Hayward, John Lansdale and Adam Hutchings from Burgess Hill Town, Eastbourne Town and Horsham respectively.

Brace has also re-signed all of the club’s promising clutch of youngsters with Josh James, Sid Adams, Josh Bryant, Matt Daniel, Josh Clack and Jess White all staying along with regulars Charlie Cooke, Paul Kennett, Matt Hurley, Luke Gedling, Nick Sullivan and Nico Penilla.
