Redbridge win the Essex Senior Cup- and announce a plan to install a new pitch in the summer

Pitching In Isthmian North side Redbridge have had a fine couple of days. Last night the Motormen upset the odds to lift the Essex Senior Cup against Colchester United, defeating the EFL side on penalties after a goalless draw- and today they have announced that the summer will see the grass surface at their Oakside Stadium removed, and a 3G surface installed.

First things first- let's watch that final!

The club have announced that Isthmian League Cup sponsors Velocity Sports will be undertaking the installation of the new pitch. The work is scheduled to start a few days after the Motormen play their last game of the season, at home to Bury Town on April 27th, and is expected to be finished before the 24-25 campaign begins on Saturday August 3rd.

Congratulations to all at the club- on both counts!
