Jacob Gilbert signs on at Chatham Town

Chatham Town have announced the signing of midfielder Jacob Gilbert.

Those who watch Pitching In Isthmian South East will recognise Jacob, as he was with Hythe Town last season, and made forty one appearances, weighing in with four goals. The Cannons weren't his first South East club, as he also spent time with Haywards Heath Town during the 2020-21 campaign, playing four times on loan from Maidstone United, where he played for the Under 19's and the first team.

He has also spent time with Corinthian, and with Canterbury City.
