A Cray double

Cameron Black and George Porter are new at Cray Wanderers

Cray Wanderers yesterday announced two impressive new arrivals, after reaching agreement with Cameron Black and George Porter.

Defender Cameron comes in on a season long loan from Dorking Wanderers.

He came through the Academy at Meadowbank, playing for the Under 18's and Under 23's before graduating to the first team squad during the 21-22 campaign. He had a loan spell at Leatherhead during that particular season, playing twenty nine times and scoring an impressive five goals.

Last season he had a loan spell at National League South side Hampton & Richmond Borough, before heading to the Sussex seaside and spending time with Bognor Regis Town, making twenty nine appearances- and scoring in a two-two draw against his new club.

Striker (or winger) George moves back to where it all began for him- he was a youth player with Wands before graduating to the first team squad and playing an important part in the 2009-10 campaign. He was spotted by Leyton Orient, and had two years at Brisbane Road- although he also had loan time at Lewes and Hastings United.

A spell at Burnley included loan spells with Colchester United and AFC Wimbledon, before moves to Rochdale and Dagenham & Redbridge.

Maidstone United was his next port of call, and he also spent three years with Bromley, before National League South spells with Dartford and Dulwich Hamlet over the last two seasons.
