A Hartsdown trio

Margate bring in three new signings

With two wins, a draw and three defeats in their last six matches Margate have been searching for consistency of late. Perhaps a few new signings might help?

Well here's news of three!

First up, after confirming the release of goalkeeper Henry Newcombe the club have signed a replacement, Louis Wells from Billericay Town. Billericay seem to be haemorrhaging players at an alarming rate at the moment, and the keeper- who counts Hayes & Yeading United, Leatherhead, Staines Town and Uxbridge amongst his former clubs, is the latest to head for pastures new.

Next, a cross-division transfer sees Connor Dymond make the move across from Kingstonian, after being on the bench when the K's defeated Gate last month- and he is joined by another from a rival club, as Liam King makes the switch from Tonbridge Angels, having made 22 appearances already this season, scoring three goals. He came on as a substitute as Angels won at Hartsdown Park in August.
