Marvin Herschel and Lauric Diakiess new at Whitehawk

Whitehawk had two new names on the bench as they took on Burgess Hill Town on Saturday.

Marvin Herschel, a winger, has most recently been on loan at Pitching In Isthmian South Central side Westfield from parent club Dartford.He made four appearances, scoring the winner in Field's win over Ashford Town.

Marvin also spent some time on loan at Pitching In Isthmian Premier side Margate this season. He started in the Boxing Day defeat to Cray Wanderers only to be sacrificed when Gate had a defender sent off, and played the first half in the New Years Monday defeat to Folkestone Invicta. He also spent a very short time- one match- on loan with Cray Wanderers last season.

He came through the Darts Academy, and spent time last season playing for Bearsted in the SCEFL. He has made first team appearances for the Darts this season.

Lauric Diakiesse, a striker, started this season at Hawks promotion rivals Ashford United, and made eleven appearances, scoring once. he moved on to another of the promotion chasers, Ramsgate, making nine appearances with two goals.

He moved to Homelands from AFC Rushden and Diamonds. Prior to his time as a Diamond he was with Kettering Town, and has also played for Aldershot Town, Erith & Belvedere, Woodford Town, Harrow Borough, Ilford FC, Imortal Desportivo Clube (Portugal), Ware, Egham Town and Heybridge.
