A Lambe for the leaders

Stowmarket Town's Reggie Lambe joins AFC Sudbury

Stowmarket Town announced the departure of Reggie Lambe yesterday, and it turned out not to be only bad news for Stow but for the rest of the North Division promotion chasers, as he was later announced as a new signing for AFC Sudbury.

Reggie has been with Stow since 2020, and this season has scored eleven goals in twenty seven matches. That followed the eight goals he scored last season, as his side reached the Play Off's at the first time of asking.

The Bermudan international was originally a youth, reserve and first team player with Ipswich Town, before heading off to play in Canada and Sweden. Back in the UK, Mansfield Town, Carlisle United and Cambridge United were his next ports of call, and he played regular first team football for all three before Stow came calling.
