A new defender for the Curfews

Chertsey Town add Alfie Saunders

Chertsey Town had a debutant at full back as they defeated Southall on Saturday, and Alfie Saunders played for the first sixty six minutes.

Alfie was a youth with Forest Green Rovers and, after spending some time on loan at Basingstoke Town, headed to Hampshire to sign permanently for Aldershot Town. He played youth and first team football for the Shots, and spent some loan time at Farnborough before moving there permanently.

He left Boro for Hungerford Town, then spent time at Gosport Borough before returning to Farnborough once more. This season saw a loan spell at Dorchester Town before a move to Andover New Street and, most recently, some time with Tadley Calleva.
