Jahmal Hector-Ingram signs on at Hastings United

Hastings United have announced the signing of striker Jahmal Hector-Ingram.

Jamal was a youth player with both West Ham United, playing for the Under 18 and Under 21 sides, and then moved to Derby County, playing for the Under 23's and eventually graduating to play for the Rams first team.

He spent some time on loan at Stevenage, and then went north of the border where he played for St Johnstone. This is his first spell at our level- and indeed seems to be his first spell away from the professional game, so is something of a coup for Hastings.
