A pair of Bees

Ayo Shogbeni and Terlochan Singh are new arrivals at Basildon United

Basildon United had a new number four and a new number one as they lost to Felixstowe and Walton United on Saturday, with the arrivals of Ayo Shogbeni and Terlochan Singh.

Defender Ayo ended last season in the Pitching In Isthmian North with Tilbury, making ten appearances, including in a five-two defeat against his new club. Ayo was a Crystal Palace youth before moving to play Under 18 football with Morecambe, home of the best football pies in the country (we've no idea whether he ate any).

Midfielder/right back Terlochan has spent much of the last three seasons in the Pitching In Isthmian South Central, turning out for Hanwell Town, but he moves to Essex from Southall, where he has already made three appearances this season.

He has also played for Welling Town, Sporting Bengal United and Romford.
