Rather late yesterday evening- perhaps because the club officials had spent the morning at the BetVictor Isthmian League pre-season meeting, and the afternoon stuck on the M25- Lewes announced two new arrivals.
First up is former Manchester United midfielder Kayne Diedrick-Roberts. Kayne turned out for the Red Devils at Under 18 and Under 23 level, after joining United from Fulham in 2015. He also spent time on loan at Bournemouth, but last year played close to his Lewisham roots, turning out for Greenwich Borough.
Joining him at the Pan is full back Jason Dawson. Jason takes the step up from Step Five, moving to the Pan from Southern Combination Football League side Loxwood. He previously turned out for Montpelier Villa, who play at the University of Sussex in Falmer, Brighton.
