A Shrimper returns to the Gulls

Canvey island have announced the return to the club of Southend United loanee Miles Mitchell-Nelson. He previously made six appearances for the club over december and early January.

Miles, a defender, has also been part of the first team squad at Southend after coming through the Under 18 and Under 23 sides. He won't be entirely unknown to Isthmian audiences, as he played twenty four times on loan with Harlow Town in the Pitching In Isthmian South Central Division during 2019-20, and more recently spent some time at Brightlingsea Regent, making another half a dozen appearances over the autumn.

He'll be remaining with Canvey until the end of the campaign.
