Ashford United announce the departure of midfielder Toby Ajala

Ashford United yesterday announced that Toby Ajala has left their ranks for the bright lights of Faversham Town, after eight appearances and two goals for the Nuts and Bolts- swapping a promotion chase for a relegation fight.

Toby started this season in the Pitching In Isthmian Premier, at Bowers & Pitsea, where he made fourteen appearances.

He spent some of last season at Sittingbourne, playing twelve times, and has also turned out in our ranks for Romford, Coggeshall Town, Kingstonian- and had a previous spell with the Nuts and Bolts.

He has played much higher, too, with Hull City, Bristol City, Torquay United and- on loan- at AFC Wimbledon and Cheltenham Town.
