Hastings striker Femi Akinwande moves to Hornchurch

Forward Femi Akinwande has had a fine start to the season with Hastings United, with eight goals from fourteen games. His last match was in defeat against Hornchurch last week, but he must have liked the surroundings if not the experience, as on Saturday it was announced that he'd swapped the Pilot Field for Bridge Avenue.

Femi played youth football for Millwall and Dartford, and has much experience at our level and higher. His played for Tonbridge Angels and Billericay Town- both at National League South level- and he has also turned out for the likes of Stevenage, Concord Rangers, East Thurrock United and Colchester United. He was a big part of the Haringey Borough squad which reached the First Round of the FA Cup during the 2018-19 season, before finishing the Premier Division season in third place.

Last season saw him arrive at Carshalton Athletic , where he scored eleven goals in his thirty eight appearances.
