Akrofi new at Ashford

Ashford United have announced the arrival of striker Alex Akrofi.

Alex is something of a serial promotion winner, having achieved that feat with Aveley, Brentwood Town and Maidstone United. He spent most of last season with Carshalton Athletic, making twenty six appearances after leaving Aveley- but it was perhaps his periods with the Millers which are most prominent in Isthmian memory. According to figures from the club, the striker played one hundred and thirty four times in his spells at Parkside, scoring seventy two goals and assisting forty three times.

He also sent time with Tonbridge Angels, Hastings United and Concord Rangers.
