Alexander to star on next live show

By David Watters

Greenwich Borough's promotion-chasing boss Gary Alexander is getting ready for a grilling from fans on the second live recording of the Ryman Podcast Show.

Former Leyton Orient, Millwall, Brentford, AFC Wimbledon and Burton Albion forward Alexander, along with the Ryman North club's striker Liam MacDevitt and media man Elliot Byrne, will debate the latest news and action live on Facebook between 7 and 9pm with regular guest Glenn Poole, Thurrock's player-coach, and the show's co-hosts David Square and VCD Athletic manager Keith McMahon.

Launched with the backing of the Ryman League during the 2013-14 season, the two hour live phone-in show dedicated to the Ryman returned for the first time this season in November with new Leatherhead boss Jimmy Bullard as its first star guest.

Heybridge Swifts manager Jody Brown and Bowers & Pitsea boss Rob Small took part in the first live streaming of the show at The Harlow Arena last Monday night, taking questions from the fans, players and officials of the Ryman League in real time on the social media platform for the first time.

Fans who miss Monday's next streaming on Facebook can find find out how the debate went from 7pm on Wednesday when the show is due to be released for download as a podcast on Harlow Town's online community station Hawks Radio. Fans can also catch up on previous shows on Audioboom with the HarrytheHawk Page.

For the first time ever, the show is also going on the road this season despite moving into a new studio at the home of the Hawks. The brainchild of Hawks fan Square, the show's producers are hoping to broadcast from a number of grounds before the end of the season after switching from their old slot on Thursday nights this season.

For more information on show, clubs and supporters should call 07912 435005 or visit www.hawksradio.co.uk.
