Named on Tuesday as September's divisional winners in the Ryman Premier, Ryman North and Ryman South respectively, all three managers will be measured up for new suits in the coming weeks thanks to the Ryman League's unique sponsorship deal with the Surrey-based bespoke tailors.
As well as being presented with inscribed glass trophies at upcoming fixtures to record their managerial honours from Macron, the joint sponsors of the monthly awards and the league's official kit suppliers, for the third season running the trio will be able to choose from three colours and a range of designs at the long established company’s 7000 sq ft Suit-City in Redhill.
As always, there is no restriction on the number of suits managers can win over the campaign but joint bosses need to win more than once to both be kitted out with the monthly prizes from Nicholas Rowe Tailoring restricted to one suit per winning club.
Top flight winners Edwards managed a number of clubs including Chelmsford City and Grays Athletic before his appointment by the Blues in April 2010. To win September's accolade Edwards enjoyed the perfect month guiding his side to seven straight wins, four in the league, one in the Alan Turvey Trophy sponsored by Robert Dyas and two in the Emirates FA Cup to reach the third qualifying round.
Former Thamesmead Town manager Keith McMahon took over at VCD Athletic in May and made his mark in September to win the Ryman North award with four wins and a draw in the league and a 4-1 victory over Kingstonian in the first qualifying round of the Emirates FA Cup, an impressive result that also won the Vickers September's Macron Performance of the Month award.
As player-manager, Gary Alexander led Greenwich Borough to promotion into the Ryman League this season as Southern Counties East League champions.
The former West Ham United, Exeter City, Swindon Town, Hull City, Leyton Orient, Millwall, Brentford, Crawley Town, AFC Wimbledon and Burton Albion striker was named as the Ryman South's top manager after continuing the good work in September, guiding his side to top of the table with six straight wins in the league as well as reaching the second round of the Alan Turvey Trophy sponsored by Robert Dyas with a 2-1 first round victory at Aveley.
